Following our annual quality surveillance audit. We are delighted to announce that WDB Ltd has achieved AS 9100D / ISO 9001: 2015 recertification. Quality encompasses the whole business. For this reason we are hugely proud of our team for their commitment to providing an excellent customer service.
The recertification acknowledges that we are continuing to follow best practices of the aerospace industry and have exceeded our customers’ expectations, based on standards laid out by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE): Quality Management Systems – Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organisations.
What are the requirements?
This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organisation:
- Needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. This includes processes for improvement of the system, as well as the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
This year, new requirements have emphasised the prevention of risk and counterfeit parts. Providing a structure that enables businesses to adapt to change, planning for obsolescence, and addressing product safety concerns.
